Today it is hot here, very hot! Like 105 degrees hot!

We got quite a bit of work done this morning but by this afternoon it was clear that all 5 of us wouldn't make it in the living room together so we took school outside!

And you know what that means...

Water Play!!!

Here's what you learn when you play in the water...

1. water cools you down when you are hot
2. you can run under and through it
3. you can jump over it
4. you can drink it, spit it, blow bubbles in it
5. you can pretend you are an animal that lives in it, near it or one who really doesn't like it
6. you can sing rhyming songs about it
7. you can splash it on a wall and make abstract pictures with it
8. you can wonder why it disappears
9. you find a rainbow in it
10. you can water the plants with it

And all we did was play in the water this afternoon.
